This tube pre amplifier with the PCL 86 is based on time proven Tube Line-Pre-amplifier. Due to the demand of many hifi fans who use only a few line level signal sources e.g. CD-Player, Video, Recorder  and others. The signal sources are switched by reed relays which have the advantage of a very high channel separation. The input relay board uses solid gold plated RCA connectors.

Four inputs,  low impedance output which can drive long cable lengths as well as dynamic headphones with 600 Ohms output impedance, input selector, Volume-Balance-Controls as well as a Mute switch are necessary elements for the audiophiles who seek pure and excellent tube sonics. Electronically regulated high voltage, electronically regulated DC heating, an over designed very low emission power transformer enable ultra low noise levels.

The turn on delay has multi function:

• After approx. 2 minutes the outputs are opened.
• If DC goes to outputs they are disconnected by relays.
• Immediately after turn off the outputs are shorted, to minimize turn off thump.
